挺有深度的一部小说，好像是根据同名电影改编的，讲一个老师为了给学生解释当时的德国人对希特勒和他领导的纳粹组织的服从，而在学生中间创造了一个与纳粹相类似的“The Wave”组织，绝大部分学生都接受了，只有主角Laurie反对而且利用各种手段阻止。结局就不剧透了，反正不悲惨。书很不错，值得一读。
